Food here was great. The French onion soup was a perfect appetizer and both the veal and duck entrees tasted wonderful. Atmosphere is well decorated and is a nice place to enjoy some great cuisine. Service was quick, friendly and helpful. A bit on the higher side in terms of price but I thought the experience was worth it. Would definitely be back if given the chance.
We just had an excellent dinner at Bistro Niko. Their steak and frites we're absolutely top-notch. I had the Prime NY Sirloin Strip & Frites with béarnaise sauce and both my kids had the Ribeye Steak Maitre d'Hotel Butter & Frites. The steak was exceptionally tender and juicy and the fries were made just right. My wife also greatly enjoyed the Mountain Trout Almondine. For appetizers we ordered the Mushroom & Truffle Essence Tarte, the Jumbo Lump Crab Cake, and the Crisp Duck Leg Confit. They were all wonderful, specially the duck confit. To top it off, for dessert we ordered the Profiteroles and the Crème Brulée. Both were divine! We also appreciated the courteous service and inviting ambiance. We'll be returning soon! Highly recommended.
Absolutely wonderful! We came here on a Tuesday night & loved it. The menu is very extensive, with lots of options for everyone. We started with an appetizer of the tuna tartare & shrimp pastry. Both were good & not too overly filling. I ordered the salmon for my entree & it was cooked very well. Flavors were great. My mom got the lobster pasta & enjoyed it. She mentioned it would be better with a creamy sauce, but overall liked it. For dessert we got two of the ones our waiter recommended. Both were good. One thing about the food was it was wonderful but not the type of food that sits heavy on you. Some restaurants you leave feeling yuck, but this is not one of them. The atmosphere of the restaurant is quaint & upscale. There is valet parking in the back. Our waiter was PHENOMENAL! Niko went over the top to make our first experience here wonderful. He knew the menu through & through but his personality was wonderful. He is one of the best waiters we've ever had in 50+ restaurants we've been to in Atlanta. Highly, highly recommend him! We'll definitely be back!!
For an upscale steak restaurant located in the heart of Buckhead, you'd think the pricing would be astronomical. It is not. You get great upscale dinner experience and service without the breaking your wallet feel. We went for a birthday celebration and had a party of five. Shared a lovely bottle of wine, ordered special appetizers and meals and everything was so delicious. We've been twice and will continue to go back. Our service that night was excellent and we never had to ask for a refill. He just kept appearing and taking care of everything. Great personality and made the evening fun. The first time we went, my love and I sat at the bar. Second time, sat in the dining room area. Both are great!
Came here for dinner on a Sunday, it was a great experience! Started off with the Crevettes en Feuille de Brique appetizer, which was great for 2 people to share. Super tasty, not fishy at all. For my meal, I ordered the Fresh Seafood Tagliatelle Pasta, which was not only a great sized portion, but tasted super fresh. The picture I took doesn't do it justice! I also got 2 drinks: a Le Bon Rhum cocktail and then a Lemondrop as well, both were awesome. Great food, easy valet parking, and friendly service - would definitely recommend to others and also return sometime!
The service here is phenomenal! Every server is attentive and tuned in to your needs. It makes the experience pleasant and comforting! I also like the open kitchen aspect and being able to see what's being made. Having dinner here at about 6pm on a Saturday was busy but having a reservation makes it a breeze! We started with the lump crab cake as suggested but our waitress and it was so good! Buttery yet light. No bready bits, truly just crab. I like the french style roasted chicken but could have used a bit more salt to me. Other than that the I loved the crunchy veggies on top and the succulent mushrooms. This was a nice dining experience overall but food was a 7/10. Aside from the crab cake which I would 100% come back for, also want to try the mussels.
It had been a minute since I'd been and my husband's birthday made for the perfect chance to go back. Right from the host stand, where we were greeted with "Happy Birthday!" even though he didn't remember having it in his Open Table profile, everything was lovely. Very festive in a Saks-at-the-holidays way and the food was excellent. I went all out for the filet and frites and he had the Coq au Vin. My medium rare was perfect and he devoured his! We were so surprised when a special birthday dessert of the dreamiest profiteroles arrived! We left very full and happy.
From the entrance to the dining experience, this place blew our minds! We expected to walk into a standard French bistro and walked into a French Rivera decked out with holiday decor and live jazz music! We enjoyed the peach bubbly cocktail together and an order of oysters on the half shell for starters and everything was incredible. The 2 regions represented in the oyster selection were clean and crisp, not fishy at all but very fresh. We ordered the croquette and the Norwegian (smoked salmon) Benedict and both were outstanding, and very swiftly delivered to the table. Might have even been able to use another 5 minutes to finish our oysters. But the food was just absolutely delicious. The atmosphere for the holidays makes you feel like you're entering the world of "The Nutcracker" just with live jazz during the weekend brunch hours. The only "issues" we ran into was not getting our bread without requesting and the live music was just a tad too loud. That's it--not enough to keep us from returning, which we plan on it soon!
